Barbara Robinson’s "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" is a holiday classic. What an honor to bring her story to the stage in this stunning new musical adaptation.

The importance of compassion, empathy, inclusion, and community are central themes of the show. We couldn’t give our kids a better gift right now than to focus on these critical life skills. Every time I work at First Stage, I leave the project having learned more from the young people than they do from me.

The young performers in this production are savvy, astute, creative, kind, and brimming with promise. They fill me with hope. As we celebrate the season, be assured that the future is bright. When these kids run the world, we’ll be the better for it.
