Costume
designer Misti Bradford designed the masks to enhance the Phantom’s spook-factor
– and to produce real goosebumps in the
audience! The masks were engineered to be as comfortable and functional as
possible, maximizing the performer’s sight lines yet obstructing movement, vocalization
and breathing as little as possible.
