Both Director Molly Rhode and actress Karen E
strada have a long history with First Stage and THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER. Molly portrayed Mindy in our first staging of this play in 1990. In 1992, Molly was a tech intern and part of the stage crew, and Karen portrayed ImogenHerdman. Molly then served as choreographer in both 2003 and 2009, as well as playing the roles of Irma Slocum and Edna McCarthy, respectively. Karen has found her way to First Stage again and again as a professional actress, including roles in First Stage’s THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR SHOW, THE MIRACULOUS JOURNEY OF EDWARD TULANE, and many others. 

Molly and Karen are excited to share their journey from their time as Theater Academy students at First Stage to their careers as professional theater artists.
