Uncommon Friendships Event Update & The Organizations Involved

12:50 PM

The Uncommon Friendships Event, in partnership with Hours Against Hate, will feature guest speakers Pardeep Kaleka and Arno Michaelis, founders of Serve2Unite.

For general information about this event, in support of our production of BIG RIVER opening March 15, read our event announcement.

We’re excited to partner with Hours Against Hate, as well as to have Kaleka and Michaelis as our guest speakers!

ABOUT HOURS AGAINST HATE
Hours Against Hate is a movement to help end hate in Milwaukee and throughout our greater community. Powerful in its simplicity, Hours Against Hate was founded on the idea that one-to-one interactions between individuals who are different from each other can promote respect and dismantle bigotry. The program mobilizes participants to spend an hour or more interacting with someone of a different race, culture, religion, tradition, class, sexual orientation, gender, or physical ability.

ABOUT SERVE2UNITE
Serve2Unite is a proven means of establishing a healthy sense of identity, purpose, and belonging that diverts young people from violent extremist ideologies, gun violence, school shootings, bullying, and substance abuse, along with other forms of self-harm.
