One of the key elements in the set design of THE THIEF LORD is an ornate but decrepit carousel with transformative powers.  Here are photos of the start-to-finish process of building the remarkable prop.  Look closely at the photos of the carousel creatures.  If you can guess the original source of the animal heads, you will win a copy of Cornelia Funke's The Thief Lord, autographed by the entire cast!  Post your guess here as a comment and we'll let you know if you are correct.
