Crowns and tiaras were de rigeur in the lobby of the Todd Wehr Theater this Thursday evening at the First Stage Holiday Costume Ball. All children in costume were photographed on the red carpet and then presented with prizes and First Stage bucks. House Manager Michael Warren, also known as "Sir Casm" awarded additional prizes to youngsters whose costumes really stood out. Ashley and Natalie Peterson, who accessorized their thrift store gowns with elegant cardigans, handcrafted tiaras, and homemade wands, received the grand prize of an iPod Shuffle and an autographed CD of Harry Connick, Jr. They were thrilled to win!
