WITNESS: Playwright at the theater
By House Manager Michael Warren
I would like to extend my personal thanks to John Urquhart, the playwright of our current production of WITNESS, for the time he spent with us over the last two days at the Todd Wehr Theater. His observations and insights in the production were absolutely priceless! John was able to share facts about the story's history that are both intriguing and bewildering, like the fact that up until 9/11 the Ku Klux Klan was the FBI's most tracked terrorist group in the country. What a wonderful visit by a truly wonderful man and a unique experience for the young people who attended those performances.
We should do more of this kind of thing when the opportunity presents itself.
