WITNESS: playwright in town

WITNESS playwright John Urquhart was in town today to see his show WITNESS at the Todd Wehr Theater! While he was visiting, he made a stop for a radio interview on WUWM's 89.7 Lake Effect and he spent some time talking with fifth graders at McKinley Elementary School in Wauwatosa, part of First Stage's partnership program.
The students learned about what it means to be a playwright and more importantly the lessons that can be learned in the play WITNESS - acceptance, honesty and courage.
