Pageant's musical soundtrack will catapult you back in time!

Like most of the PAGEANT audiences so far, last Friday night's audience reacted with delight at the choreography that mimicked the MTV video of The Bangles "Walk Like an Egyptian".  And although I've seen the scene a few times, it still elicited an inadvertent bark of laughter from me.  A little boy seated nearby turned to look me over, trying to understand what was so funny.  The poor thing will never know what he missed by being born too late.

For those of you who were alive during the eighties, here is the official playlist:

Christmas is the Time to Say I Love You – SR71
Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas – Twisted Sister
Who Can It Be Now – Men at Work
Christmas Wrapping –The Waitresses
Merry, Merry Christmas – New Kids on the Block
Christmas in Hollis – Run DMC
Little Drummer Boy – Joan Jett and the Blackhearts
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun – Cyndi Lauper
Eye of the Tiger – Survivor
Blue Christmas – the Pretenders
Hot, Hot, Hot – Buster Poindexter
Don’t Stop Believin’ -Journey
Christmas Love – Billy Idol
Do You See What I See – iSweat Fitness Music

Songs sampled in the Pageant proper:
